The Houli’s Hooley Podcast, Sat. January 18, 2020

Paddy Houlihan, Bill Houlihan, and Clay O’Brien

McCann’s Irish Oatmeal, Mike Haggerty Buick/GMC/Volkswagen and Personal Injury Attorney Caroleann Gallagher present The Houli’s Hooley with Bill and Paddy Houlihan who are joined, as always, by their good friend, Clay O’Brien. The guys begin this week’s show with an important New Year reminder: 2020 – Get that money!. There’s chat about old video games and consoles. ‘Goldblum Boy’ at GameStop. “I had a beanbag chair for games” –  a lesser known song by The Rolling Stones… apparently. Are these new games for the kids or just for Paddy?.. Bill gives us a quick lesson in ‘How to play the Wii’. Thanks, Bill! Lots to discuss in Sports this week, including MLB scandals, McGregor’s upcoming fight and Superbowl predictions. In showbiz news, the 3 amigos discuss potential future ‘Jeopardy’ hosts and Bill isn’t happy because “the Oscars has lost it’s lust!”. We take a well-needed musical break with “Only The Lonely” by The Motels. The craziness continues with Paddy’s new workout ideas and his and Bill’s weekend plans to go to a Wrestling Night. Clay’s newest character ‘Wealthy white man/father’ makes an appearance along with some of his Vedder outbursts. Another tech-heavy show and in keeping with that theme, we have Queen’s “Play the Game” to play us out this week.
