Podcast: Sept. 17, 2011

Skinny calls in from his Quigley Alumni golf outing, where a
couple of his classmates actually became priests! After an exhaustive analysis
of the talents of Rosie O’Donnell, Skinny tells Houli about the recent day when
Rosie’s car broke down on the expressway and a friendly Chicago policeman
explained to her how to get to 294. We’re then joined by Local 130 Plumbers
Union rep Patty Fadden who has spent the last 18 years helping to put together
Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade downtown. Patty is being honored by The
Emerald Society and will pickup her award at Gaelic Park next Friday night. Legendary
Chicago coach Howie Fagan from Hawthorne Racecourse calls in to tell us the
story of the class of inductees for Wednesday night’s Chicagoland Sports Hall
of Fame Dinner. Houli does a solo “Who Cares” and almost bursts a blood vessel
in his forehead and then we honor the dead and we’re outta here. Don’t forget
all our sponsors: Flood Bros. Disposal, Jack Desmond’s Irish Pub, Cork &
Kerry Irish Pub, Reilly’s Daughter Irish Pub, Lizzie McNeill’s Irish Pub, and
Marquette Bank! Thanks for listening to your Chicago conversation on The Skinny
& Houli Show.
