Podcast: October 7, 2017

Flood Brothers Disposal presents The Skinny & Houli Show and the lads present a special show tonight with an invited audience of all the folks going to Ireland with us later this month for our 2017 Return to Heaven Trip.
We start off the show with the return of some of the very talented young ladies from the Murphy Roche Irish Music School including 7 year old Delainey Schwarz performing on the fiddle, then 7 year old Imogen Kiley sings a couple of songs for  us, and then 13 year old prodigy Lexia Kennedy returns to the show to perform a handful of tunes and seems to bring a new found confidence with her to her performing that impresses the lads.
We throw in our usual Who Died and Who Cares and then do quick interview with Irish American Heritage Center President Geno Cooney, who will also be joining Skinny and Houli in Ireland. After a break we visit briefly with Skinny’s brother Johnny Vegas as he tells stories about last year’s trip to Ireland as well as retired Chicago police homicide detective and Vietnam Vet Neil Maas, who encourages us all to boycott the NFL on Veterans’ Day! Our young friend Lexia Kennedy returns to play us out with a rousing rendition of “The Mason’s Apron” as we close out quite a show! Tune-in!
