Martin James Hughes drops by the show with his dad and brother and tells us about his upcoming benefit concert on May 23rd before signing a terrific acapella version of “The Fields of Athenry”. Then Martin’s dad Mike comes on the show. Mike was born and rasied in Mayo and says he’s “the last generation of real Irish people”. Then Marting does another tune, “Willya Go Lassie, Go”, which brings down the house.

Linda Bacin and Pete Meersman of the National Restaurant Show are in Lizzie’s and tell us about the annual show this weekend, which brings in over 140,000 visitors to Chicago for the convention. Then we hear a tune from Nathan Carter who is playin Gaelic Park Memorial Day weekend for Irish Fest.
