Flood Brothers Disposal presents The Skinny and Houli show and this week the show is full of great, lively trad music. We start off with our hosts chatting about the U S. open and Irish golfer, Rory McIlroy. Our guests this week are musicians, Max Dunne and Catherine Cowell who will be accompanying the Trinity Dance Tour to Belgium. Max is a guitarist and an after school music teacher over at Brother Rice High School. Catherine Cowell is an Irish fiddle player and has an array of achievements and awards under her belt. This duo play numerous lively tunes for us throughout the show. We learn about the upcoming summer events in the local area and at The Irish American Heritage Center. Don’t forget we have our annual Skinny and Houli tour coming up in October and there are still a few spots left so get your ticket! Our usual ‘Who Cares?’ and ‘Who Died?’ segments are featured this week. Houli tells some jokes while Skinny tells us a story about ‘The Lone Ranger’. Max and Catherine play us out this week. A really great show that’s full of good music and even better craic!
