Flood Bros. Disposal presents The Skinny & Houli Show and Skinny is absent this week, helping out his relatives in New Jersey doing a good deed. But have no fear because the one and only Geno Cooney is sitting in for Skinny and he and Houli click this week with very special guests The Jim Sullivan Band. Jim has been on the show before promoting his CD “Catch The Heart Off Guard” and tonight he brings Jimmy Hayes to support on tin whistle and vocals and Gerry Field on fiddle. This trio put on a veritable concert by the river at Lizzie’s as they catch Chicagoans off-guard on a lovely summer night while strolling along listening to some great Irish music. Jim and the lads perform Houli’s favorite, “McAlpine’s Fusiliers”, along with “Red is the Rose”, “Four Green Fields”, “Finnegans’ Wake” and keep the banter lively with stories and songs all night. Geno joins Houli for a rare version of “Who Cares” and it all makes for a very special show tonight, so tune in!
