Podcast: July 2, 2011

Tune into to today’s Skinny & Houli Show to hear IAHC Executive Director Tim McDonnell tout the line-up of entertainment and craic for next weekend’s (July 8,9,&10), Irish Fest at The Irish American Heritage Center. It’s their biggest event of the year and they’ve brought in some big-time talent to wow the crowds. Skinny is urging Houli to enter the mashed potato-eating contest and the lads also listen to Blago’s final words after his convictions earlier in the week.

Along with some sentimental reminiscing about the late First Lady of Illinois Lura Lynn Ryan we’ve packed in a lot of laughs in this 55 minutes of madness, including blowing off the doors of our studio with “Who Cares?” , plans for our July 15th live taping at Jack Desmond’s Irish Pub, and an appeal for comments regarding the resurrection of the Southside Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Tune in and share the yuks with Skinny & Houli.
