The Skinny & Houli show takes their act on the road to Jack Desmond’s Irish Pub in Chicago Ridge and a wild crowd turned out to cheer them on. This might well be the most raucous broadcast done by the daffy duo. A who’s who of Southside Irish, and even some brave pilgrims who drove out from way up north, turn this 55 minutes into a par tay! It was wall to wall with Waddells, Sheahans, Desmonds, Houlihans, Kellys, Hickeys and Smiths, including Pat O’Brien and son and Black Dave Cahill and son. Along with Red Dog O’Keefe and Cornelius Maas. Tune in to hear riffs from Sun-Times Pulitzer Prize winning political cartoonist Jack Higgins, Circuit Court Judge George Scully, Riley’s Trick Shop owner Jim Riley, international racehorse trainer Des McInerney, Southside Irish Rugby Team President Patrick Sullivan, and oodles more who came to get down with Skinny & Houli at their first ever remote taping of the Skinny & Houli Show. There hasn’t been this much craic on the radio since Larry King had Oprah sitting on his desk!
