Flood Bros. Disposal presents The Skinny & Houli Show and we kick off the show with the obligatory phone call to Skinny in Florida and his weather reports. Then we welcome old friend singer/songwriter Michele McGuire back to the show after too long being away. She’s a darling girl and sings us a handful of terrific tunes including her newest song, “Last Ditch Effort”, along with “You Ain’t Right…But I Got Nothin Left”, and “Shake a Little Salt on Me”. Michele gives a shout out to her aunt and uncle in Ireland, Mick and Bernie Barrett, who run a B&B, The Sea Rod Inn, in Doohoma, Belmullet, Ballina, Co. Mayo, Ireland. We talk with Michele about her striking resemblance to movie star Emma Stone and her gig this weekend at Dunn Dunn Fest at the Beat Kitchen. Throw in some “Who Cares” and “Who Died”, with a review of the great Emmett Flood’s wake last week, and you’ve got a show. But wait there’s more! Michele takes us out with her smash hit recording that rode the wave of the Cubs World Series, “Bye Bye Curse of ‘45”, and garnered hundreds of thousands of downloads online. Now you can hear it too on our podcast. Don’t miss this show! Also here’s a very cool you tube video of Michele’s song
