Flood Bros. Disposal presents The Skinny & Houli Show and this week we welcome back our friend and one of our favorite performers, The Celtic Nightingale herself, Catherine O’Connell. We open the show with Bing Crosby singing “Christmas in Killarney” to put us all in the mood and then talk to Catherine about all the great stuff going on in her life, and we listen to a couple of her recordings, including “Santa Baby”. Then we’re joined by Eddie Corrigan, candidate for State Representative in the 53rd District for the Illinois House of Representatives. Eddie tells us about his roots, including his Irish roots, and why he wants to run for office. He speaks passionately of watching his dad run a small business for years and having to deal with a lot regulations that tend to shackle small businessmen across the state of Illinois. Eddie brought his own cheering section, many of his Flood cousins, to Lizzie’s for the show tonight and it’s fun hearing from them as well. Finally, we have Catherine play us out with one of Houli’s favorite tunes, “How Bright is The Day”.  Merry Christmas!
