Flood Bros Disposal presents The Skinny & Houli Show as we welcome back fiddle prodigy from the Murphy Roche Irish Music Club, 13-year-old Lexia Kenneday to the show. Lexia arrived at Lizzie McNeill’s fresh from her first day of school and an 11-day trip to Ireland for the Fleadh, where she competed with other young musicans and friends for The All-Ireland crown. After telling the lads stories of her travels Lexia performs a set of jigs, her Fleadh tune, “The Leading Role”, and “In Memory of Coleman” and demonstrates her love of Irish music. Skinny and Houli chat about Houli’s new book and the upcoming book signings next week and return with some good old fashioned “Who Cares?”. They spot DePaul University womens basketball coach and Olympic gold medal winning coach Doug Bruno on the patio, and coax the coach over for some stories and predictions on the season to come. Then Lexia returns to take us out with “The Silver Spear” and “Earl’s Chair” on her very sophisticated fiddle! Great show, great kid!
