Houli’s Podcast: December 15, 2012

It’s a special edition of the Wednesday Wiggle as Skinny & Houli make an emergency change of venue to record the show at Fox’s Beverly Pizza. Huge crowd turns out on Western Ave as the lads reprise their adventures last week at the Irish Fellowship Christmas luncheon and then welcome Southside Irish Parade reps Kevin Coakley and Billy Sheehan promoting the parade on March 10th and the newly opened parade store at 109th & Western where Houli will hold forth next Saturday at noon telling Christmas stories. www.southsideirishparade.org

Mary Kay Marmol drops in to talk up the Rose of Tralee and then we connect on the phone with John Richards, founder and president of The Irish American Business Network, www.iabn.net, John started the group over pints with three pals in his local in LA about three years ago and they now have over 9,000 members in 26 countries. You can find ‘em on facebook too. Ryan Fox takes the guest chair to tell the story of his grandparents starting Fox’s Pizza almost 50 years ago.  Then we go from pizza to Pickle Joyce as Mike thanks everybody for their help with the Marty McGarry fundraiser which raised over half a million bucks for the legendary boxer.

Skinny & Houli then announce that Wed. Dec. 26th will be their official Christmas party at Lizzie McNeill’s. Be There!
